Air Pollution

In 2017, air pollution in Turkey claimed seven times more lives than traffic accidents.
Had air pollution levels in Turkey been reduced to the limits recommended by the World Health Organization that year, 13% of deaths could have been prevented.
Turkey should establish national PM 2.5 threshold values, as many other countries have already done.
This would be a crucial step toward protecting public health and reducing healthcare costs.

Say No to Emissions! Let’s Turn Off Our Engines for a Day on November 11!

As the One Day for the World movement, we say “Stop” to emissions to protect our planet!

Harmful gases released into the atmosphere due to fossil fuel consumption, industrial production, and vehicle traffic are worsening the climate crisis.
This pollution threatens nature, living beings, and our future. We must take action together to reduce it!

What do you think about turning off engines and pausing factory production for just one day on November 11?
By avoiding vehicle use, halting production, or minimizing energy consumption for a day, we can raise awareness.
A small step can be the beginning of a big change!
